Chad’s relationship with Rummer Development began the way most great things do. Organically. Over a decade ago, he was renovating one of Bob Rummer’s original homes when the two formed a bond that never faded. Bob shared the intimate details of how his homes were built, knowledge that lives with Chad to this day and shapes everything he touches at Rummer Development.

With more than 30 years of construction experience and a general contractor’s license earned over 20 years ago, Chad has built and led across every trade, phase, and project type. From commercial hotels and restaurants to custom residential builds, land divisions, and developments.

What sets Chad apart is what you can’t put on a resume. His background in fine art, including time at the Portland Art Museum and Bullseye Glass, gives him an eye for the details that make a Rummer home feel like more than a house. He understands instinctively what Bob was after. Not just a structure, but a way of living.
